Terms of Service

Effective October 21, 2026 · Focus Un, LTD, doing business as Focus Un Training

These Terms are an agreement between you and Focus Un, LTD, doing business as Focus Un Training (“Focus Un,” “we,” “us”), for your use of focusuntraining.com, the portal at app.focusuntraining.com, and the Focus Un iPhone and Apple Watch apps (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, buying from us, sending a form, or using the Service, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

Please read Section 5 (health and assumption of risk) and Section 16 (arbitration and class action waiver) carefully. Section 16 requires most disputes to be resolved by individual arbitration and explains how to opt out.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 and live in the United States to use the Service. If you are 16 or 17, your parent or guardian must consent to your use and to these Terms, and they accept these Terms on your behalf and are responsible for your use.

2. Your account

One person per account. Give accurate information, keep your sign-in secure, and tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from Account in the app or portal.

3. The Service

Focus Un offers self-guided training programs and tracks, one-on-one coaching (virtual and in person), messaging, check-ins, calls, progress tracking, nutrition coaching, tools and plans, and the Focus Journal. We may add, change or remove features. Features labeled beta may be incomplete or change without notice.

4. Coaches

Focus Un coaches are independent contractors engaged by Focus Un, not medical providers. They provide fitness coaching and general nutrition guidance within their training and credentials. Coaches do not diagnose or treat injuries or medical conditions and do not provide medical nutrition therapy. Meal plans in the app come only from our dietitian-reviewed recipe library.

5. Health, safety and assumption of risk

  • Not medical advice. The Service provides general fitness and nutrition information. It is not medical advice and does not replace a physician, dietitian or other licensed professional. Calculators, readiness scores, pain swaps, nutrient flags and supplement information are guidance only.
  • Check with your doctor before starting any exercise or nutrition program, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition or injury, take medication, or have a history of disordered eating.
  • Know the risks. Strength training, conditioning, running, rucking, carries, sprints, plyometrics and fitness testing carry inherent risks, including muscle and joint injury, heat illness, cardiac events and, rarely, death. You choose your intensity and loads, use proper form, equipment and spotters, and stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.
  • You assume these risks. To the fullest extent the law allows, you voluntarily assume all risks of injury, illness or loss from activities you do using the Service, including in-person sessions, and you release Focus Un and its owners, coaches, employees and contractors from claims arising from those activities, except claims caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
  • Not an emergency service. Messages, forms and check-ins are not monitored around the clock. In an emergency, call 911.
  • Supplements. Supplement information is label data reported by manufacturers, not a recommendation or dose. The FDA does not approve supplements before sale. Ask a doctor or pharmacist about interactions. Military members should check the Operation Supplement Safety (OPSS) resources; our prohibited-ingredient flags are informational and may be incomplete.

6. No guaranteed results

Results depend on many things outside our control, and we do not guarantee any result, including passing an academy, selection, agency or military fitness test. Those standards are set by the organizations themselves. Focus Un is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Defense, any military branch, or any government agency.

7. Purchases, subscriptions and trials

  • Prices are in U.S. dollars, before applicable tax, as shown on the website, in the app or at checkout when you buy.
  • Training programs bought on this website (such as Strong Start, SHRED28, 45FIT and the Mission Programs) are one-time purchases through Stripe. Where the website says so, a program’s price is credited toward your first month of coaching if you upgrade within 30 days.
  • Coaching (Nutrition Coaching, Virtual Training, Virtual + Nutrition, Elite 1-on-1) is billed monthly with a 3-month minimum, or paid in full for 3 months at the price shown. You may give notice to cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the 3-month minimum, and after that at the end of the current month. Single 1-on-1 sessions are paid per session.
  • App membership and add-ons. Member is $19 per month or $149 per year. Fuel Pro is $7.99 per month, or $4.99 per month for Members. Nutrition plans are $49 one-time and include 12 months of Fuel Pro; included Fuel Pro months never renew into a paid subscription automatically.
  • Free tier and trial. The app’s free tier includes onboarding, a fitness assessment, one starter program, nutrition targets and habits, and basic progress tracking. New users get 7 days of Member access (including Fuel Pro) with no card required; nothing is charged when it ends.
  • Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, and you authorize us (or Apple) to charge your payment method until you cancel. Before you buy, we show the price, billing period, renewal terms and how to cancel, and ask for your agreement. We send a confirmation and, where the law requires, a reminder before renewal. We will give you at least 7 days’ notice before any price change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.
  • Cancel online. App and portal subscriptions: Account → Billing → Manage or cancel subscription. App Store subscriptions: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Coaching: email focus.unltd@focusuntraining.com or use Billing in the portal. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Pausing. Where offered, you can pause a subscription for deployment, field training or injury instead of canceling. We remind you before billing resumes.
  • Refunds. Except where the law requires otherwise: subscription and coaching fees are not refunded for partial periods; one-time programs and nutrition plans are not refundable once you have accessed their content, and are refundable within 14 days if you have not. Email focus.unltd@focusuntraining.com to request a refund for a purchase made on the website or portal. If we refund a purchase, access to it ends. Purchases made through Apple are governed by Apple’s terms, and Apple handles their refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Focus Journal. The Focus Journal is printed, sold and shipped by Lulu. Lulu’s terms govern payment, shipping, returns and damaged copies.
  • Referrals and discounts are subject to the terms shown with the offer, have no cash value, and may end at any time.

8. Your content

Photos, voice notes, messages, logs, form answers and other content you give us stay yours. You give Focus Un a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process and display that content only to operate and improve the Service for you, including showing it to the people described in our Privacy Policy. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups until they expire. We use your progress photos or videos in our marketing only if you say yes in writing (for example, on the client intake), and you can withdraw that permission for future use at any time. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.

Coaches who add programs, exercises, images or video links confirm they have the rights to them and give Focus Un a non-exclusive license to use them in the Service, including in the shared library if the owner promotes them.

9. Acceptable use

Do not:

  • harass, threaten or abuse coaches, clients or team members, or share anyone’s information without permission;
  • share, resell or redistribute paid programs, plans or other Focus Un content, or share your account;
  • upload unlawful, infringing, sexually explicit or malicious content;
  • copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service or its security, or access accounts or data that are not yours.

10. Focus Un content and marks

Programs, tracks, the exercise library, videos, recipes, nutrition plans, the Focus Journal, completion messages, quote collections, designs and software are owned by Focus Un or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use them for your own training. FOCUS | UN and Focus Un Training are our marks. Other marks belong to their owners.

11. Links and affiliate disclosure

The website links to other sites (such as Instagram, TikTok, Amazon and Lulu) that we don’t control. As an Amazon Associate, Focus Un earns from qualifying purchases made through our book links.

12. Copyright

We respond to copyright notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and end the accounts of repeat infringers. See our Copyright Policy.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, create risk for others, or if required by law, and we will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it. If we end the Service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and refund unused prepaid subscription time. Sections 5, 6 and 8 through 17 survive termination.

14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, FOCUS UN DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR THAT DATA (INCLUDING CALCULATOR RESULTS AND HEALTH AND NUTRITION DATA FROM THIRD PARTIES) WILL BE ACCURATE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, FOCUS UN WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR $100. THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW, INCLUDING FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY WHERE A LIMIT IS PROHIBITED.

15. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless Focus Un and its owners, coaches, employees and contractors from claims by third parties arising from your content or your breach of these Terms, to the extent the law allows.

16. Disputes: arbitration and class action waiver

  • Try us first. Before filing a claim, email focus.unltd@focusuntraining.com with a description of the dispute. We will try to resolve it informally within 60 days.
  • Arbitration. If we can’t, any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, by a single arbitrator, in the county where you live or by video. We will pay the filing, administration and arbitrator fees beyond what you would pay to file in court, unless the arbitrator finds the claim frivolous. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section.
  • Exceptions. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either of us may go to court to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property.
  • Class action waiver. Claims may be brought only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding, and the arbitrator may not combine claims of more than one person. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim proceeds in court, not arbitration.
  • Opt out. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing focus.unltd@focusuntraining.com with your name, email and a statement that you opt out of arbitration.
  • Governing law and courts. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and do not take away consumer protections you have under the laws of your state. Any claim not subject to arbitration will be brought in the state or federal courts in Franklin County, Ohio, unless the law of your state gives you the right to sue where you live.

17. Apple

If you use the iPhone or Apple Watch app: these Terms are between you and Focus Un, not Apple, and Focus Un, not Apple, is responsible for the app, its content, maintenance, support, warranty claims, and any product, legal-compliance or intellectual-property claims. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to meet a warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of its purchase price, and Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you are not in a country subject to a U.S. embargo or on a U.S. prohibited-party list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You must also follow Apple’s usage rules.

18. Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will post them here, notify app and portal users, and ask them to accept the new version; changes do not apply to disputes already pending. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the terms shown at purchase are the entire agreement between us. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them to a successor. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver.
